Humans Against Dragon Stereotypes

Mission:  To enhance dragon awareness, providing more accurate information on dragons and their habits and mannerisms, in turn dispelling unwarranted myths and prejudice.

Learn more about dragons

Dragons have an earth history that predates modern man. An often misunderstood creature, dragons are an ancient source of fear and fascination. In nature they are widespread, though their introverted tendencies keep them camouflaged and mysterious. This lack of true knowledge and consideration has given rise to a reputation that portrays dragons as fearsome, uncontrollable, and downright dangerous.

Spend some time on the pages of HADS.us to learn more, or send us some stories or pictures of your own personal encounters with dragons.

Richard Hatch Speaks Out

richard_hatch_smRichard Hatch took a few moments off the red carpet to speak with Jackie Gamber about specism, and his opinions about species-based discriminations in general. Richard--pictured here wearing his "Fight Specism" button--is an internationally known actor, teacher and speaker who has sustained recognition in series such as Battlestar Galactica (for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe Award). Richard is also an author of five original Battlestar Galactica novels!

Richard was very passionate about the plight of dragons, and all creatures when he stated, "I'm against the discrimination of any species!" We appreciate him taking the time to talk with us, and look forward to seeing more from this great actor and author.
